Our last fundraising event was a HUGE success thanks to each and every person and pup that participated! We want to thank ALL of the businesses that contributed basket this year!
We had a total of 36 Amazing basket to raffle off up to an astonishing combined value of over $3,000.00!
We microchipped 11 dogs and Raised $1,470.00!
We are working DOGgon hard to make the Durand Dog Park a reality! Here is an update on where we are and whats to come!
The dog park committee is committed to locating and acquiring the purr-fect place to call Durand Dog Park. If you have land in the City of Durand and are willing to lease or sell we are interested in talking with you. If you have ideas of land preferably in the city of Durand that you believe would be a good fit, email us and let us know, and we will be happy to follow up!
At this time 04/13/2023, We are in the works of negotiating a smaller plot of land that may work. This land would be in the City of Durand and near a Kwik and Convenient location. That’s all the hints you get!
Our next fundraising event is on April 29th, 2023 at Tarrant Park! Pepin County Humane Society has graciously once again, partnered with Durand Dog Park to raise money during their Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Each dog will get to hunt for easter eggs and socialize with other furry friends and their owners. The cost of this event is $5 per dog. Baskets will be raffled off and boy do we have some great baskets this year! See you there rain or shine.

Welcome to the home page of the Durand Dog Park!
The creation of the Durand Dog Park is in full swing! Operating under the Durand Improvement Group with the support of Durand Parks and Recreation.
The idea of building a dog park in Durand was kicked into action by LeAnna Bender. With just one facebook post on October 25th, 2021 that gained the attention and support of over 227 members almost overnight. It was undeniable that the need and want for a local dog park has brought us together here! A few of us were able to get together and put a plan in place to make this doggie dream into a reality.
Soon to follow we had a Durand Dog Park committee and were adopted under the Durand Improvement Group.
We are making great progress and raising funds to support the park!

Durand Dog Park is currently looking for a new location in the City of Durand. Ideally, it would be approximately 2 to 5 acres within the City of Durand, WI.

Dog parks provide a safe place to run and play off-leash! A great outlet for your dogs overabundant energy while making new friends.
Everyone is welcome, come and enjoy the company of good neighbors and furry friends.
- Ownership of a dog is not necessary! Many owners would welcome the opportunity for someone else to toss the ball!
- No Fees! Donations are much appreciated, we can't do it alone! Every penny helps!
- We would love to have you as a VOLUNTEER! Reach out and we will get started right away!
- The park will be open from dawn to dusk.
- Dogs MUST have current Vaccinations!
- You MUST accompany and have control of your dog at all time!
- Pick up your doggie doo doo! And any others to keep the park clean. Some pups are sneaky - Don't let them ruin it for the rest of us!
